Tim Sands
The Undercut
Tim is a born and raised Mancunian with a passion for music and all things Northern. He is a hairdresser in Altrincham for over 40 years at Sand on Greenwood Street. He attempts to play guitar and drums and can occasionally be spotted trying to rollerblade in the local park! Musically he tells us he is hopelessly in love with Elkie brooks and still hoping the clash will reform and put him on drums! When not at work he listens to tunes while on his long daily walks. A lover of jam and toast; often found talking rubbish to locals in Alty (like many of our team!!).

Joel Thompson
Jazztime with Joel
Joel wasn't born a Jazz fan - once he started to show a strong affinity for music his curiosity took him on a journey.
Working in a certain record store in the centre of Manchester he had the opportunity to listen to anything he wanted to and that expanded his musical taste buds.
The aim of "Jazz Time" is to play the many types of Jazz. Jazz is a small word but a big subject. Joel is always listening and learning.
If you have any jazz tracks, are in a jazz band or know of any local gigs let Joel know by contacting him at [email protected].
